1. Login to camera IP address using a laptop and Microsoft Edge.

2. Go to Config > Alarm > Smart Tracking and select tracking mode and still time.

PTZ Tracking Priority: When enabled, smart tracking will work, but cannot manually control PTZ.

Manual PTZ Control Priority: Manual control of PTZ enabled.

3. Select Config > Event and select event required (Intrusion or tripwire), select detection target and check  "Trigger Track" and click save.

4. Using the directional buttons, position the camera. Then click draw underneath camera image to draw the rule.

5. Click "Lock" to lock the PTZ into place for tracking.

Note. After smart tracking is enabled and home position is locked, preset 89 will be generated as the smart tracking home position by default. Please DO NOT delete preset 89, or PTZ will not return to home position after tracking.
