1. With camera connect directly to back of NVR via PoE, right click live view, select PTZ menu and login using pattern or password.

2. Using the direction controls, move the camera to the position you want to detect people.

4. Click the triangle pointing right to extend the options. Press the Cog button (bottom right) labelled "Aux Config".

5. On the pop-up-window choose "Preset", enter a preset number (default 1) and click Setting to set the preset.

6. Right click and open Main Menu. Browse to AI > Parameters > Smart Plan. Choose the camera number and the Preset created and click the lightbulb icon to highlight. Click "Apply"

7. Select "IVS" on the left hand menu. Choose camera number. Click Add rule.

8. Select either Tripwire or Intrusion (tripwire is default)

9. Click "Draw Rule" under camera image and use left mouse button to draw the rule. Press right mouse button to complete the rule.

10. Choose whether to detect Humans, Vehicles, or both.

11. Select a tracking duration (default 30 seconds).

12. Click Apply to finish.

Note. Once set, tracking may take a minute or two to work.
