1. Connect Cat5 cable from LAN port of recorder to LAN port of router OR an Uplink port on a network switch.

2. Log into recorder. Browse to Main Menu > Network > TCP/IP

3. Click on the Modify pencil (top middle), Turn on DHCP and click Apply/Ok

5. Untick/unselect DHCP above the DNS options.

Copy the gateway number into the “Preferred DNS”

Enter Google DNS into secondary DNS

6. Click Apply/OK bottom right.

7. Select bottom left menu “P2P

8. Status should show “Online” in grey
