1. Connect Cat5 cable between the Network Interface Port on recorder and spare LAN port on router.

2. Login to the recorder (bottom left) and select Settings.

3. Select TCP/IP under Network settings

4. Tick “Obtain IP Address Automatically”. The three field which show greyed out information once this is working.

5. Please untick “Obtain DNS Automatically” and enter:

Preferred: Same number as the gateway

Alternate: 8.8.8.8

Click Apply at bottom right

6. Select the NAT page (along the top row of menus) and ensure "Enable" is ticked.
